St. Francis Theatre has provided a wide variety of theatrical productions to a loyal following for over 20 years. We specialize in offering a quality live entertainment experience in an intimate setting at an affordable price. Some of Tucson’s finest directors and most talented actors have graced the St. Francis stage over the years. Recent productions included an innovative and riveting "Dynamic Reader's Theatre" presentation of the beloved classic, To Kill A Mockingbird. A Midsummer Night's Dream was a wonderfully inventive take on the classic Shakespearean comedy. Holiday productions included a delightful, heart-warming holiday musical review of some of the greatest tunes that sung by Frank Sinatra, called Christmas My Way and a ho ho hilarious and sentimental production of Christmas Survival Guide. The powerfully uplifting production of Working the Musical by Stephen Schwartz played to standing ovations and strong critical approval. We recently premiered the original drama, Pieces by Michael Wilkinson. This engrossing drama followed a mother's journey of discovery as she uncovered her family history. The 2017-2018 season will feature the Arizona premiere of Luna Gale, by Rebecca Gilman and the always popular Godspell 2012.
